Our client is a fast‑growing AI company that builds cutting‑edge tools for complex information retrieval and workflow automation across finance and law. Their clients include credit funds, real estate investors, and restructuring teams.
This is not a traditional legal advisory role. Instead, you will use your legal training and transactional experience to help design, test and improve AI‑driven workflows – ideal for a lawyer who wants to upskill in AI, work with a high‑calibre team, and do something genuinely different with their legal background.
This is for an initial 3 months with scope to extend.
Responsibilties –
- Work closely with an AI strategy team (ex‑lawyers, ex‑bankers, ex‑investors) to:
- Design and build AI agents for legal/finance workflows (e.g. extracting terms from credit agreements, handling voluminous transactional documentation).
- Develop and refine complex prompts and instructions for multi‑agent AI workflows.
- Sense‑check outputs from AI systems, using your legal literacy to determine what is correct, what is missing, and what needs improvement.
- Use AI tools (e.g. Claude, Copilot and similar) as a core part of your day‑to‑day work to stay on top of large volumes of documents.
- Collaborate with a fast‑moving, informal, results‑driven tech team, contributing to best practices for AI use in transactional legal work.
This role is full time and inside IR35. You can be based from home or the client (London) office and some attendance at the beginning of the assignment may be beneficial.
